Family Fun time! Pumkpin Patch 2009

Happy Halloween everybody!

I can't wait to show you the Halloween pictures I took today! Before I do though, I want to show off the pictures we took picking out our pumkpins at the Pumpkin Patch in Pea Ridge a couple weeks ago. Northwest Arkansas wedding photographer: Athena and Ryan tie the knot: the portraits - part deux!

Hey everybody,

Okay, there were just too many good portraits for just one day. I mean, look at this super sexy, super glamorous couple!

Tomorrow, we'll be taking a break from Athena and Ryan for some fun pumpkin picking photos with the fam. Then we'll return to our regularly scheduled programming on Sunday with A+R's morning after shoot. Say whaaaaaaat?!!

Arkansas Wedding Photographer: Athena and Ryan tie the knot: the story

Hey everybody!

Athena and Ryan's wedding day was laid back and easy for Mere and Lauren. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful home of the bride's parents, overlooking Beaver Lake. With a gorgeous bride and groom and a beautiful and intimate setting the chances for an overwhelming success of great images are pretty high.

Mere snapped these gorgeous shots of Athena getting ready. Athena was truly channeling Marilyn Monroe!


Athena loves the camera and the camera loves her!

While Mere was up with Athena, Lauren was downstairs with Ryan. All the guys wore these super cool, vintage suspenders!


I love this shot Lauren got of Ryan and his grandpa!

A sweet kiss between Athena and her father just before she walks down the isle.



After the wedding, Mere and Lauren went strait into portraits with the bride and groom, but not before Athen touched up her lipstick!


The sun had just barely set when the couple shared their first dance. Gorgeous light, right?

Athena and Ryan tie the knot: the details!

Hey everybody!

Yesterday we introduced you to the crazy hot couple, Athena and Ryan. Today, we set the scene and show off some gorgeous details. Athena and Ryan were inspired by vintage aspects when planning and designing their wedding. Meredith and Lauren captured so many details that I'm excited to share.

First up, SHOES! I hope cool groom socks become a tradition with ALL our couples (this is two in a row!):

Lastly, I want to show an overview of the area and the dance floor. Athena and Ryan's Northwest Arkansas wedding was at her parents' house.

Meet Crazy Hot Athena and Ryan!

Hey everybody!

Meet Athena! This Arkansan-turned-Californian is an actress and model! Athena is a free spirit who LOVES life...and her new husband Ryan!

Meet Ryan! This California groom has a job many guys (including myself) would kill for....he works for Apple! From what Mere told me, I believe his duties include testing Apps in the App Store. Are you kidding me? The other cool thing is: he's also a professional photographer!


Mere and Lauren shot their wedding on Saturday and I CANNOT wait to show you the pics! Also stay tuned for the morning-after shoot, where Athena and Ryan got back into their wedding digs and met up with Mere and me on Dickson street for a more urban look!

It's going to be a fun week for sure!

I Heart New York! The iPhone tour.

Hey everybody!

Get this: I just spend Wednesday through Saturday in New York and I didn't even get my camera out of the bag! I kid you not; I didn't take a single picture, except with my iPhone.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted to... but time totally escaped me each and every day. So, you'll have to make do with my silly little iPhone pics.

MpixPro invited me to join them at PhotoPlus, one of the largest photography tradeshows in America, so I could introduce Mpix Pro to the world of photographers and educate them on products and information Mpix Pro has to offer. Also while in NYC, I ate yummy food, saw Wicked (which was unbelievable), and met up with some fellow photographers for dinner and drinks.

On a side note, I love having a lab that values its customers so much. I mean, MpixPro developed their custom CD case because I asked the lab to do so back in January. The final product is truly amazing. And even though another lab is starting to offer the same product, the quality between the two aren't even close. I hope Mpix Pro fully reaps the reward of listening to its customers! Furthermore, I feel I have many more ideas on how to make Mpix Pro soar way past the other labs and their offerings. I love helping out such a great company.

Okay, back on track. Here is my silly little NYC iPhone pic summary. I can't wait to head back and spend some personal time photographing.

Landy's Fayetteville AR senior portraits

Saturday, Lauren and I photographed Landy's senior portrait session in Fayetteville. She made the drive up from Fort Smith for the shoot and we had such a fun time! Landy was quite the natural in front of the camera (and I think she knew it- ha ha!) Check out some of my favorite shots below. I'll post more tomorrow.
