Hey everybody!

I want you to see something I found quite hilarious over my Thanksgiving break; My nephew, who ranks among the cutest of 2 year olds, is also hilariously smart. Here he is using my brother's iPhone to play a Diego episode. He turns it on, unlocks it, navigates to the iPod app, scrolls to Diego, and clicks play. Pretty sure I know a couple 60 year olds who wouldn't be able to do that! Check out the little cutie below!

Kenna's senior fashion session

Austin Kliewer is a lucky fellow. He is lucky because he's marrying into a family with the Johnson girls. So far, I've met three Johnson girls, and love three Johnson girls: Maggie, Diana, and now Kenna. They are all so cute, sweet, laugh-y, and fashionable.

Kenna came up from Houston this weekend and we photographed her senior portraits. It was a hilariously good time, filled with equal parts of laughing and shivering. You can't tell it was cold in these photos, though. Kenna is quite the model! Not to mention, she has the BEST clothes!

Michelle and Nathan tie the knot!

Hey everybody!

Lauren and I are gutsy. We photographed an outdoor wedding on Lake Ft. Smith last Saturday - the same Saturday that saw it's first snow flakes fall in the mid-30 degree weather; We loved spending spare minutes by the roaring fire in the humongous fireplace. Lauren and I are also fun! We had a great time with Michelle and Nathan - they're fun too!

Michelle and Nathan, I've come up with a slogan for you: Frostbite is for lovers.
You guys are so in love, and so sweet with each other! Keep the fire going! Get it... fire?!

I'm a dork. Anyway, I wanna give major props to Lauren - All the images below are hers - She kinda rocks!

Jessica and Brent's engagement session

Leah and Trey's engagement session

Hey everybody!

I've been debating with myself: Should I tell them the long, detailed version or the short and sweet version...
I'm good at compromise. Following is the medium-length CRAZY story of Leah and Trey's engagement session.

Like any other shoot, this one started out very fun, cute, and mild. We headed to a cool little place with some rockin' pretty leaves for some cool shots. And cool shots we got.

Then, we took the scenic route to our next location. Being a team roper, horses are a big part of Trey's life. Furthermore, Leah grew up around horses. So it makes sense that they would want to incorporate this important part of their lives into their engagement session.

Oh, yeah... medium version...

So, after saddling up the horses and getting some cool shots, Trey pulled Leah up with him for a few. Mr. Horse was not happy. A minute later he decided he'd be a buckin' bronco and sent our cute couple flying into the air. A couple heart attacks later (from Mere and me), and a few cuss words later (from Leah and Trey), everybody was alive and well. :)

Meredith and I both replayed the image in our head for the next day or two. I don't know about Mere's, but mine had multiple alternate endings, mostly ending with blood and gore. I'm glad they're alright, I'm glad they can walk straight, and I'm glad we got awesome pictures of them.

A Time to Give...

One of my college photography students sent me this info (at my request) about her cute little niece. I'd love for you all to read over the info and, if possible, try to help out their family.

Elli Anderson is 9 months old and has been diagnosed with CCM. CCM
stands for Cerebral Cavernous Malformation; Elli was born with this. The
veins in her little brain swell, leak and cause lesions in her brain.
Elli has had one leak so far and this has caused developmental delays.
Very few doctors are familiar with this condition because it is very
rare. We have found a doctor in Arizona who is familiar with it; he has
agreed to look at her case and we are hoping he will take her as his

Stephanie and Brandon tie the knot!

Hey everybody!

Happy Monday! Today we aren't supposed to be working, but I wanted to get Stephanie and Brandon's blog posted. We shot their wedding at the Chapel on the Creeks a couple weeks ago - and the timing of the day couldn't have been better. The portraits we took of them were right as the sun was setting. Lucky us! Then, we headed to the Embassy (Stephanie is a manager there too) for their beautiful reception. They had a GREAT 2 person band (they were out of Memphis, as were many of the guests). We had so much fun listening to them!

Chelsea and Jonathan's engagement session

Hey everybody!

Chelsea and Jonathan are definitely one of the cutest couples we've photographed. Maybe ever. To illustrate my point, after our super fun engagement shoot I looked in my rearview mirror while pulling away and saw them give each other the cutest, heart-felt high 5. Probably because they knew they nailed these shots... :)

Kristin and AJ's engagement session...

Hey everybody!

We met up last week with Kristin and AJ to shoot some engagement pictures. This super cute couple was so fun to photograph; Mere and I had a blast! They're getting married in January and we're really looking forward to their big day!

We played around all over Fayetteville and got some GREAT shots! Even their little dog Piper got in on the fun! We're so excited to show them their pictures! Enjoy a few of our favorites...
