Janelle and Aaron's Tulsa Engagement

Hey everybody! Two cool things in this singularly rockin' post.

First things first... Janelle and Aaron, our favorite upcoming Tulsa couple, had us in town recently for their fun engagement session. I'll soon be working on their engagement website, but I wanted to throw this teaser with a slideshow your way to see the great images we got of them.

Brandi and Sergio tie the knot!

Hey everybody!

Every now and then I take a photo that is beyond me. This first photo is one of those. It's not any exception color or lighting or anything which makes this image so powerful. It's the meaning behind this photo that gets me every time.

I'm at a loss for words in trying to explain it - so just check it out. It's an image of a gorgeous lady, with Sergio's reflection in the frame. His voice cracked a little when he told me it was his mother, who passed years ago.

Megan and Richard - We met Megan and her momma (who flew in from Chicago) a couple weeks ago after our friend and fellow photographer Crystal Goss referred us to them (thanks Crystal!) Now, Megan just has to find her dress (she says she's tried on about 70 dresses - I don't know if that's an exaggeration!). She seems super cool!

Hailey and Matt - Okay, so, Hailey is hilarious and fun and sassy. Our friend and former bride Lauren Mayhall referred her to us (Thanks Lauren!) Hailey and I have been chatting about her October 09 wedding non-stop since then (she lives in Texas, so we serve as her NWA liaison... ha ha ha). I'm super excited to hang out with them!

Sincerely Yours

Hey everybody!

It's time for a new vendor spotlight! Just a disclaimer, I don't do these because anybody asks me to. Nor do I do them because I expect anything in return from them. I do this because I find something that I think you all will like. Also, I'm a big believer in building each other up in the wedding business so that we can continue to grow and offer better services and products to our customers. Okay, on with the show...

There are lots of stationary/invitation places out there, even in Northwest Arkansas. However, one thing that sets Amy Hannon of Sincerely Yours apart is that she is super creative! I love looking at her new ideas every bridal fair I'm a part of; plus, she's got a great style that is similar to Meredith and mine.

More importantly, though, is her personality. I love it when people I work with are fun, outgoing, witty, and excitable. Amy is definitely each of these things! No wonder we hit it off right away! Also, she has a great heart! She is one of the super-sponsors of the Brides for the Cure (along with me and Jenessa Bailey). Lastly, she has a hilarious little family!

32,000 hits! That's more than the Beatles!

Hey everybody!

What an exciting day I've had. Though I've been sick and have only a faint voice, not to mention I've been toning pictures and ordering albums all day, it's been a remarkable day!

When I logged in to my server last night I noticed a pretty high hit count for a Monday. To my surprise, the hits have continued non-stop today! So, I have a new record for hits in a day: over 32,000 (there are still a couple hours left). I can check the unique visitors so I know it's not somebody just hitting the refresh button... ha ha ha

I'm floored by the overwhelming support I get from you all! Don't let me ever stop thanking you for what you do to help Meredith and me: posting our pictures as your facebook profiles, myspace profiles, linking to us on your blogs, telling your friends and family, etc.

Meredith and I are so happy to have a job where we can be creative and do something we love and that we're kinda good at. ;) Please keep it up!

Mandi and Josh tie the knot!

Mandi and Josh are one crazy couple! Mere and I had a lot of fun shooting their wedding a few weeks ago in Nevada, MO. Mandi is friends with a few of my friends from college, so it was nice to catch up with everyone! Mandi and Josh's little boy Collin is super cute, and kinda ornery. He was the ring bearer in the wedding and stole the show! More on that later...
